In what formats are CBCT scans provided?
Scans are shared in DICOM format by default, with viewing software included. Additional formats (JPEGs, STL files for 3D printing) can be provided upon request.
How quickly can I expect scan reports?
Reports are usually delivered within 24–48 hours. Urgent cases can be prioritised upon request.
Do you provide radiology reporting, or just raw scans?
We offer both. Clinicians may request full radiology reports or receive the raw scan data for in-house interpretation.
Can I request STL files for surgical guide fabrication?
Yes. STL exports can be generated from scans for 3D printing of surgical guides, study models, or aligner setups.
What is the field of view (FOV) available at your centre?
Our CBCT system offers small, medium, and large FOVs, enabling both localized assessments, TMJ scans and full maxillofacial scans.
How do you ensure radiation safety?
We follow ALARA principles (As Low As Reasonably Achievable), using tailored FOV selection and exposure settings to minimise dose without compromising image quality.
Can I send my patients directly, or do they need a referral form?
We recommend a referral form to ensure the scan matches your diagnostic needs, but patients can also book directly with your details provided.
Do you offer training for clinicians on CBCT interpretation?
Yes Our centre provides hands-on training in CBCT imaging, interpretation, and integration with 3D printing workflows.
How are files shared securely
All digital files are shared via encrypted, password-protected links or through physical media if preferred.
Can I request customised reports for specific specialties (implantology, orthodontics, endodontics)?
Absolutely. Reports can be tailored to highlight findings relevant to your specialty, ensuring you get focused, actionable insights.
Do you collaborate with labs and specialists for case planning?
Yes. We work closely with all dental specialists and dental labs to streamline the entire digital workflow from scan to print.
